Smashed: A yacht called Skulduggery, reported stolen from Okahu Bay, was destroyed on Red Beach on Sunday after it broke its anchor. No one was injured. Photo: MARILYN SHAFTOE Doorstep swim: Campers didn't have to go far for a swim at Sandspit camping ground on Sunday. Photo: DAVID ADAMS The clean-up began yes- terday after Sunday's wild weather. Fallen trees and slips were mostly cleared by late Monday. High tides left debris high on dunes and reserves, and a lengthy stretch of roped poles were flattened at Orewa Beach near the Orewa Estuary. A sand buffer north of the Orewa surf club was heavily eroded. Readers sent in many photos and reports. A selection is reproduced here.
